Rebecca Gamble, PA-C Wins 2017 Allied Health Practitioner Award

Rebecca Gamble, PA-C, is the recipient of Indiana Regional Medical Center’s 2017 Allied Health Practitioner Award. Joseph Buzogany, MD, Director of Mental Health Services, presented the award to Rebecca at the Quarterly Medical Staff meeting on Tuesday, March 6, 2018. The award was established in 2017 by the Medical Staff to recognize allied health practitioners practicing at Indiana Regional Medical Center (IRMC) who demonstrate exemplary performance and leadership, clinical expertise in patient care, and service excellence.

Nominated by the medical staff for this award, Rebecca is a physician assistant role model and promotes the values and mission of IRMC.

Rebecca began practicing as a physician assistant in Neuropsychiatry at IRMC in December 2000 when she joined Neuropsychiatric Associates with Steven Gelfand, MD. Rebecca is board certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants.

 

Rebecca also provides psychiatric care for 19 skilled nursing homes and personal care homes throughout the area. She evaluates patients at IRMC, Behavioral Health Services, and at IPG Neuropsychiatric Associates outpatient office.

Rebecca is an active leader of the Girl Scouts of America.
