The Indiana High School Student Government Association announces that it will hold a “Trick or Trot” charity 5K run/walk benefitting the Teddy Bear Fund Drive (TBFD) on Saturday, October 29 at 10:00 a.m. The run/walk will start and end at the Mack Park Pavilion, with the course using the grounds of Mack Park and the Indiana Regional Medical Center (IRMC) in Indiana. The run/walk is Student Government’s fifth annual race, and its third to be held at Mack Park and IRMC.
All proceeds of the race benefit the TBFD, which raises money to help local children in need. Eighty percent of TBFD donations support pediatrics at IRMC, and 20 percent goes to Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh. There are no administrative salaries or fees associated with TBFD – all money raised supports children’s healthcare at the hospitals.
